For this weekend there are several quality matches, but for fantasy Premier League managers, perhaps the most important thing is to remember that matches kick off on Friday. For the week 13 fantasy Premier League fixtures planner I will take a look at some of the key matchups for the weekend. The planner itself is meant to help FPL managers with setting their teams based on the possible difficulty of each match. I will take a look at a few of the key fixtures for the weekend and later in the week will be taking a more in depth look with my Premier League fantasy preview video.
There are plenty of fixtures for this weekend that have excellent fantasy value, but the biggest match of the weekend is surely Saturday’s lunchtime kickoff between Liverpool and Chelsea. Liverpool have kept clean sheets in 7 of their last 8 home Premier League matches while Chelsea has won 7 of their last 8 away matches. Chelsea’s results in recent matches have gone well and players like Eden Hazard and Alvaro Morata are starting to hit their stride. On the home side, however, the current leading goal scorer, Mohammad Salah, has now scored 2 goals in consecutive matches.
Of course Man City is still a great team to look at stacking if your playing in daily fantasy or other formats. Their away match against Huddersfield should be a great chance for them to pick up points and add some points for your FPL team.On the other side of Manchester, United host Brighton in what should be another chance for fantasy points for United players. The return of Paul Pogba has seen the return of goals at Old Trafford, which is good news for fantasy managers. In the week 13 fantasy Premier League fixtures planner you can also see that both Manchester clubs have rather favorable fixtures coming up in the next few gameweeks.
Another Premier League fantasy tips include looking at the Crystal Palace v Stoke City match. Both Stoke and Palace scored 2 goals in gameweek 12 while also giving up 2 goals. I’m predicting more goals scored this weekend on both sides of this fixture.
The week 13 fantasy Premier League fixtures planner includes a look ahead at the next 10 gameweeks and should give you a good idea of how to set up your FPL team regardless of the format.
